We only process personal data to the extent necessary to operate this website and to handle your requests.
2. Visiting the website (server log files)
When you visit our website, our hosting provider automatically processes data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time, page accessed, referrer URL, browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver and secure the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The log files are deleted automatically after a short time.
3. Cookies
We do not use tracking or marketing cookies. Only on the request page is a technically necessary session cookie set that protects the form against misuse; it is deleted when you close your browser (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG).
4. Request form
If you send us a request via the form, we process your details (name, phone and/or email, subject, vehicle data, message and – if uploaded – a photo or PDF of your vehicle registration document) solely to handle your request and to take pre-contractual steps (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).
The details are sent to us by email. Uploaded files are not stored on the web server. To prevent misuse, we briefly store a non-reversible hash of your IP address. We delete your data as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Contact by phone, email and WhatsApp
If you call or write to us, we process your details to handle your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR).
The WhatsApp buttons are simple links. Only when you click them does WhatsApp open (WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland), and WhatsApp's privacy terms apply. A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out; the provider is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
6. Facebook
Our Facebook page is only linked. No Facebook plugins are embedded and no data is transferred to Meta unless you click the link.
7. Google Maps
On the contact page you can display a Google Maps map (Google Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland). The map is only loaded when you click “Load map”. Data such as your IP address is then transferred to Google, possibly also to the USA (EU-US Data Privacy Framework). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG), which you can end at any time by reloading the page.
8. Fonts
The fonts used are stored locally on our server. No connection to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts) is established when the page is loaded.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach.
